Super Clean 2004 Diesel Excursion (BULLET PROOFED Professionally by the previous owner who obviously was never going to sell it after spending nearly six grand on the engine. Should go another few hundred thousand miles as it was done 70k miles ago). Does not drip or use any oil. We have not put 1000 miles on it the past year or two and just dont use it much and hate to let is sit. We driver it about 1 time per month when we need to tow a small trailer with the lawn mower or when my son takes his motorcycle. The big boat is sold and my my family is shrinking and its just time to part with it. Everything looks to be original, including the floor mats, ha ha. The interior is in excellent shape except for the leather stitching coming apart where your butt drags getting in and out. Has DVD player that looks stock and AC blows cold. The things that I can find wrong but we have lived with: The little motor that moves the air from defrost to blow out the front vents does not change so it is somehow set so the cold air mostly blows up the windshield and then you can feel it as the cold air falls from up above. The rear air blows cold as well and stays cool inside. I bought it a couple years ago after it had been hit in the left rear door and repaired it. Strangely it did not touch the front door and needed very little body work just behind the door on the quarter panel but was repaired well. I am surprised it marked the title but ford parts are expensive and with the miles I guess the math worked out.I do not know much more to tell you but it sure is reliable. We have not had to have anything fixed on it the past couple years. It just always starts and even through the cold winter starts right up with no issues. I keep arguing with my wife as to the benefits of having a diesel and 8 seat belts but we really do need a truck and she does not like to park that big of a vehicle. Probably can get a good hours worth of inspection for $75 or a half hour for $40-50. That is also a good way to get a third party to actually put their hands on it and verify the vin and just put your mind at ease if you are not able to come look for yourself.
